A smart locker reservation system for campus resources, built as a graduation project at King Faisal University.
LocKFU is a smart locker management system built as my graduation project at King Faisal University. It addresses a simple but unmet need on campus: a structured way for students to find, reserve, and pay for a locker, by location, floor, and time slot, instead of relying on informal, first-come arrangements.
Campus resource reservation needed a system that could handle real constraints: multiple buildings and floors, lockers that are available, selected, or already reserved at any given moment, and a reservation window with a clear start and end time, all while staying simple enough for a student to use in under a minute.
I led requirements gathering and Agile sprint planning for the project, defining the workflows and system requirements needed to address the campus reservation problem. The work moved in sprints: defining a piece of the system, validating it against the actual reservation scenario, and refining before moving to the next.
My individual contribution centered on the requirements and planning side of the project: leading requirements gathering, planning Agile sprints, and defining the workflows and system requirements that shaped how LocKFU needed to function, from locker selection through booking and payment.
No structured system existed for reserving shared campus lockers.

The result is a mobile reservation flow: students land on a home screen with quick access to booking and history, move into an interactive floor plan showing available, selected, and reserved lockers across multiple floors, and complete a reservation from there.
A simple entry point: reserve a locker, or check booking history and FAQs, built around what a student needs most, fastest.

LocKFU was completed and submitted as a graduation project for the Bachelor of Management Information Systems program at King Faisal University, delivering a working smart locker reservation concept from requirements through to a functioning locker-selection flow.
